Holistic fitness
Holistic fitness is all about maintaining mental, physical, and spiritual fitness. The aim is to gain wellbeing and fitness through wholesome nutrition and mindfulness along with physical exercise.
Holistic fitness entails looking at your body as a whole, rather focusing on one area and ignoring other aspects and dimensions. It means you need to give equal attention to your physical, mental, and emotional needs through mindful nutrition, workouts and relaxation.
At Mimamsa, you will be able to learn how to eat mindfully, and extend your holistic fitness into a holistic lifestyle. We provide training on how to grow your own organic food so that you avoid all kinds of pesticide laden food and make healthy choices.
Nutrition advice is given and delicious but healthy recipes are shared. Our mindfulness training sessions will help you watch what food you eat – not just dishes but also the stimuli from your environment. What you internalize from your external surroundings make you react and behave in a certain way, so you must ensure that you learn to keep the good and let go of the things that disturb you. In this way, your mental and emotional state can be in balance, and you can be fit mentally.
For your spiritual wellbeing, there are yoga and meditation sessions allowing you to delve within yourself, and connect with your inner spirit. In the fast pace of life, spiritual wellbeing is often forgotten. In the simplest of terms, being spiritual could be that you react with kindness and compassion.
Your generosity, toleration, honesty and integrity increases. You become fearless and happy. All these qualities stem from the spirit and they need to be cultivated so that you can be a person that has a well-rounded personality and fitness in all terms.
Holistic fitness also addresses the repressed emotional trauma in your body, relieves the tension and restores the proper functioning of the neurological system, as well as the digestive system. You can find relief from many chronic health problems and become much more open to your life experiences.
